Explore Nusfjord killer whales

Explore Nusfjord & whale spotting tour. Travel south from Henningsvær by sea to reach Nusfjord, one of the best-preserved fishing villages in Norway and a UNESCO World Heritage candidate. Approaching by boat offers a unique perspective, since we enter the fjord and village as fishermen did centuries ago.

Once there, you can walk through its historic rorbuer (fishermen’s cabins), taste local delicacies, and optionally embark on a short hike with panoramic views of the coast. On the way, be sure to keep your eyes open—we often spot killer whales in these waters!
